• How to equip a biogas generator for a biogas plant?

Normally, less than 20m3 biogas plant, we do not suggest use biogas generator. Because the gas is not enough. This system suitable for medium size biogas plant.

When you want to equip biogas plant. Please make the below things clear:

• What electric appliance will be drive?
• The power of this electric appliance.
• How many hours will be use?

So that you will know how many kw biogas generator do you need.

Then, calculate this power of biogas generator need to how many m3 gas.

The formula is:

Gas consumption (m3) = Power of the generator*How many hour will be use* the corresponding gas consumption rate

First, power of the generator we will according to above information calculate it.

Second, how many hour will be use, the clients know it.

Third, the corresponding gas consumption rate. This parameter will be shows on the biogas generator.

Now make an example.

You want to drive a 10kw biogas generator, and will use it 8 hours per day. Now you want to calculate how many m3 gas you will need. (10kw gas consumption rate (m3/kw.h) is 0.56.)

10*8*0.56=44.8m3.

So, that means, if you want to drive a 10kw biogas generator 8hours, will need 44.8m3. So you need to build a about 200m3 biogas plant.

• How to add manure and maintain biogas plant.

-How to add manure

You need to add manure reach 1/2 of the biogas bag volume at first fermentation. Normally, the percentage of manure and water is 1:1.

That means, if you want to build a 10 cubic meter biogas plant. You need to add 5 tons manure in it at first. This manure is 2.5 tons dry manure+2.5 tons water (waste water, urine or clean water is ok).

After the first manure adding, the fermentation is 1 week in summer, 2-3 week in winter. After it start to producing biogas, each 7 days – 15 days add new manure. Per time add 1/4 of the biogas bag volume.

We still use 10m3 make an example, after the first fermentation, each 1 week or 2 week add new manure. Now, every time you just need add 1/4 of the biogas bag volume, 2.5 tons manure. Same with before, this manure is 1.25ton dry manure and 1.25water.

Our biogas system is simple, new manure added in, the used manure will be out automatically. You just clean the outlet pool.

How to maintain

Normally, we suggest clean the biogas bag each 1-2 years. Just need to pure fresh water into the inlet, old manure will flow out from the outlet, when the outlet flow out flesh water, then the bag is clean.
